It all comes back to the basics. Learn to master the fundamentals in this three-hour pistol skill builder workshop. This is an opportunity for intermediate to more experienced shooters to optimize strengths, uncover barriers to performance, and apply learnings to raise skills. Drills focus on getting you comfortable shooting at a much more aggressive pace. The individualized coaching and feedback will accelerate development of your technical skills and enhance your on demand shooting performance. 

Pistol Workshop

Deep dive into vision and grip to understand how to achieve consistency and repeatability with speed and accuracy, under stress, at 5 to 25 yds.

Run dry fire and cold drills to assess your current skill set. You’ll identify strengths and weaknesses, and start to set realistic, achievable and measurable goals.

Apply new skills in timed live fire drills. You’ll work draw stroke, grip, index, aiming schemes, shooting multiple rounds and transitions.

  • Semi Auto Pistol

    Belt-mounted quality Kydex or leather holster, either inside the waistband (IWB) or outside the waistband (OWB) (no SERPA holsters)

    3 magazines minimum

    2 magazine pouches recommended

    250 rounds of ammo

    Eye and ear protection

    Appropriate footwear and clothing

  • $95 includes all fees. Class is capped at 10 students. No refunds unless class is cancelled by 1ST IN. You may reschedule and apply payment to another class if you provide 48 hours notice. No shows forfeit payment.

  • You must have your own semi-automatic pistol.

    If running an optic, it must be zeroed. If your optic is not zeroed, you will not be able to participate.

    This workshop is not for brand new shooters. You must be able to demonstrate all gun safety rules. You must be able to perform safe firearm handing, including loading, and unloading, drawing from a holster and reholstering, and malfunction clearing.

  • Training is conducted at Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club in Lebanon County, PA, a natural outdoor environment that allows for effective training, or can be conducted indoors at your range or club.
