New Jersey CCARE Qualification Course

This comprehensive seven-hour training program meets and exceeds all requirements of the New Jersey Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE) protocol and will hold you to a higher standard of proficiency and accountability.

While most courses include just one 50-round qualification with no live fire practice or coaching, in this class, instruction goes beyond basics. We incorporate coaching and 200 rounds of live fire drills prior to the qualification to ensure you exceed the minimum accuracy and technical requirements of CCARE.

I’ll assess your pistol skills, from unloading and loading, drawing from a holster and re-holstering, clearing malfunctions, to shooting with accuracy and accountability at distances of 3 to 15 yards. I’ll identify weaknesses and spot strengths. We’ll work together to improve deficiencies and amplify your potential.

The individualized attention and feedback you receive will accelerate development of your technical skills and enhance your performance.

By completing this course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you will need as part of your application process for your New Jersey concealed carry permit.

Training is conducted at Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club in Lebanon County, PA, a natural outdoor environment that allows for effective training.
