Bullseye shooting Is not sufficient for self-defense
In a self-defense scenario, all targets are high risk. There are just too many variables in play. You’ll need to shoot with more precision and control. Precision and control in this context, however, should not be confused with slow fire, bullseye shooting. In self-defense, you absolutely need precision and control, at speed.
Understanding that your skills will degrade in a stressful situation, it’s important to train at faster-than-real-life-speed, which reveals weaknesses in skills that you’ll never see when you’re shooting slowly, weaknesses you can’t afford on a high risk target.
Come out for a workshop that focuses on shooting high risk target arrays, where your CCW performance will be pressure tested.
