15 yd Bill - High value
15 yd Bills to end the day.
Time : 2.37
6 alphas
Why I do them?
From concealment. Strong test of my visual discipline and how I'm connecting to the gun. Especially at 15 and on the mini steel plate where anything less then an alpha is the deafening sound of a mike. This is not about whether or not I would shoot this aggressively at that distance as an engagement pace for defensive application or a match. It's about whether or not I have the skill set to do so. If pressed the skill is there. But coming off the gas a few hundredths to a tenth of a second on the splits for real world application sends accountability through the roof while maintaining a very aggressive shooting pace.
You'll never put the same input on the gun when you're shooting slow fire as you will shooting at max speed. Exploration is mandatory to understand what those personal inputs are so you can learn to fix and control them at speed. Learn to shoot at max speed with accountability and you own everything slower than that. Continue shooting comfort zone slow fire and think you'll rise to the occasion when forced to shoot at max speed under pressure and you'll have a front seat view to a train wreck. It's really that simple.
See you on the range!
